120-point inspection

All our used motorbikes have passed our thorough 60-point inspection twice, resulting in a total of 120 quality checks. Our highly qualified technicians also give the bike a full health check and assess the condition and safety.

Test ridden by SuperBike Factory

Once the motorbike has had its initial inspection in our workshops, if required, our technicians then take the motorbike for a full road test to check its engine performance, steering and brakes. We’re committed to making sure that all our used motorbikes are in full working order.

1. That bike starts and runs without any problems

2. That the steering lock isn't faulty

3. That the dashboard is working

4. That the clocks are working

5. That the rev counter is working

6. That the warning lights go out after a few seconds

7. That the gear indicator works

8. That the neutral light works

9. That the horn works

10. The condition of the handlebars / clip-ons

11. That the levers aren't bent

12. That there are two none damaged mirrors on the bike

13. That the headlights are working

14. That the parking lights are working

15. That the brake lights work

16. That the neutral light works

17. That the plate lights work

18. That the indicators work

19. That the tail lights work

20. The condition of the number plate

21. That the charging system works

22. The condition of the front suspension

23. The condition of the dust seals

24. The condition of the fork seals

25. The condition of the fork legs

26. The condition of the head bearings

27. That the front wheel isn’t damaged

28. The condition of the front wheel bearings

29. That the front brake pads have more than 2mm of life

30. That the front brake discs are free from pitting, ridges and lips

31. The condition of the front tyre

32. The condition of the foot pegs

33. The condition of the rear suspension

34. The condition of the swing arm

35. That the rear wheel isn’t damaged

36. The condition of the rear wheel bearings

37. That the rear brake pads have more than 2mm of life

38. That the rear brake discs are free from pitting, ridges and lips

39. The condition of the rear tyre

40. That the chain or sprockets don’t need replacing

41. The condition of the sprockets

42. The condition of stand

43. The condition of the exhaust system

44. That there’s no dents and dints

45. That there’s no scratches and scuffs

46. That there’s no cracked or broken parts

47. That there’s no corrosion and rust

48. That the engine is in working order

49. That the paniers are in good condition

50. That the bike has an alarm system

51. That the alarm system is in working condition

52. That the tyres have the required lifespan

53. That the bike hasn’t been resprayed

54. That the bike hasn’t been wrapped

55. That the VRM is correct

56. That the make and model of the bike matches our system

57. That the declared mileage is correct

58. That the VIN / chassis number is correct and legitimate

59. That the colour of the bike is correct

60. That the bike has its correct V5 document
